PM speaks to Raju’s family. Assures of all help. Still critical !
The condition of the chairman of UP film Development Council and popular stand up comedian Raju Srivastava is still critical for the last 48 hours admitted in AIIM cardiology department with news about his brain not responding. He is being closely monitored by the senior cardiologists and neuro surgeons of AIIMS. Raju Srivastava has suffered a major heart attack.The prime minister Narendra Modi spoke to his family members and have assured of extending all possible help n support. The Union defence minister Rajnath Singh and the chief minister of Uttara Pradesh Yogi Adityanath have also assured the distressed family members of their total support. Both of them had spoken to the family members over phone. The popular stand up comedian Raju Srivastava’s condition is critical since the day he was admitted at AIIMS 48 hours ago after he had reported of acute pain in his chest while he was working on tread mill in a GYM at South extension yesterday. His trainer got him admitted at AIIMS immediately where the cardiologists gave him CPR twice and tried their best to resuscitate him. Since his brain was not responding as per the news coming in he was shifted to ventilator yesterday afternoon. Everyone is praying for his speedy recovery. A popular stand up commedian who gained popularity and recognition after the reality comedy show The Great Indian Laughter’s challenge in 2005, Raju Srivastava had appeared in various significant shows of AAJ TAK, various news channels, the Kapil Sharma Show n number of comedy reality shows carrying behind a vast following with even prime minister Narendra Modi, Yogi Adityanath n politicians of all hue and cry including Lalu Yadav becoming his fan. He is, active in the entertainment industry since 1980 having also worked in several movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baajigar, Bombay to Gia, Amdani athanni kharcha rupayya, including in Nach Baliye, Bigg Boss season 3 and various advertisements as well. We all pray for his early and sound recovery.
