PM says that no project should be delayed, but Union Urban Development Minister stuck, wandering and hanging the work of approving the Rithala Bawana Narela Metro route for 9 years
Dayanand Vats Barwala, Executive President of Adarsh Gramin Samaj, Delhi today tweeted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and told him that in the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers, you told all the ministers that no project should be delayed till 2024.
On the contrary, the Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri has been stalling, deviating and hanging the Rithala, Barwala, Bawana, Narela metro routes for the last 9 years and is not giving his approval to this metro line.
Vats said that on behalf of Rithala Bawana Narela Metro Route Sangharsh Samiti, we should personally give a memorandum in this regard to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s PMO office and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Regional MP Hansraj Hans, BJP Delhi State President Virendra Sachdeva. Have passed But Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has not yet given time to meet.
Vats told that the Shahdara to Barwala Metro route was approved in the first phase of Delhi Metro itself.
Later, in the fourth phase of Metro, it was said to run till Narela via Bawana. But due to various reasons this line has not been approved for the last 23 years.
Vats said that the Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri is not even listening to the Prime Minister and the Rithala Barwala Bawana Narela Metro route is stuck during the 9 years of BJP’s tenure.
There is a lot of displeasure among the people towards the regional MP Hansraj Hans. The MP did not help us in this matter.
Everyone gives a memorandum and just gives an assurance and stops them.
The Prime Minister says that his government does not stall, divert or hang any project. But the Urban Development Minister of his own Council of Ministers, Hardeep Puri, has been stalling, deviating and delaying the approval of the Rithala Bawana Narela Metro route for the last 9 years. The Prime Minister should immediately intervene in this matter and approve this route himself.
Now the people of North West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency are expecting justice from the Prime Minister only.
