PM congratulates Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, Komalika Bari, Atanu Das and Abhishek Verma for their performances in Archery World Cup. Condoles Sirmaur tragedy

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, Komalika Bari, Atanu Das and Abhishek Verma for their stupendous performances in Archery World Cup in Paris.
In a tweet, The Prime Minister said, “The last few days have witnessed stupendous performances by our archers at the World Cup. Congratulations to @ImDeepikaK, Ankita Bhakat, Komalika Bari, Atanu Das and @archer_abhishek for their success, which will inspire upcoming talent in this field.”
The Prime Minister also condoled loss of lives due to an accident in Sirmaur Himachal Pradesh. He also prayed for the injured.
An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be provided to the next of kin of the deceased. Rs. 50,000 would be given to the injured, said the Prime Minister in a PMO tweet.
The tweet said:
“Pained by the loss of lives due to an accident in Sirmaur, HP. Condolences to the bereaved families and prayers with the injured. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be provided to the next of kin of the deceased. Rs. 50,000 would be given to the injured: PM Modi”
