Plight of a Chaoundkot village under Chowbattakhal constituency led by Satpal Maharaj, minister

During recent heavy rains many disasters were witnessed in uttrakhand. Dhami Government simply expressed its sanvednaas but failed to work on ground level. The incompetent Government didn’t have any pre plan to handle such disasters killing many innocents, damaging water pipelines, roads etc .The Disaster management is only for name sake.

our village is cut off from all directions due to blocked roads and footpaths and sick and old people may die untimely death due to the non visionary and non effective insensitive government.

There is only one natural source of water called Devgaddi which is supplying water to village Badolgaon.

long back in somewhere in the decade of 1970 -1980 the jal sansthaan, Uttar Pradesh now uttrakhand. I dont know whether it was handed over to jal nigam or not?

Since then the villagers have no option except to repair it with sutli threads and old torn clothes. The source of water is approximately 3 to 4 kilometers away from village with junglee and unsafe raasta.

The villagers have to put their lives in danger due to their non functional and insensitive Government of uttrakhand.

The villagers collected the rain water in their pots for drinking and cooking food.

Today the weather was little bit better and the villagers including ladies of 80 years and above went to repair the severely damaged water pipeline without any tools.

in the videos one can see the old ladies and gents with spades struggling hard to temporarily repair the pipeline to get a few drops of water.

The uttrakhand political leaders are surviving only on the name of Modi ji and Modi ji may or may not be aware of this bitter truth.

It will be appreciated if the CM of uttrakhand instead of visiting the areas affected with this tragedy should activate the disaster management in reality and not on godi media.

My objective through all these videos and write ups is to awake the government which is sleeping.

I wish that the Dhami government awakes without any further sleep. If not I will not leave any stone unturned to ensure that at least the local MLA Mr.Satpal Singh doesn’t win from Chaubattakhal assembly of uttrakhand vidhansabha.

Both the central government and state government are having their focus on development of roads leading to Badrinath and Kedarnath temples as they know that this will help to fetch revenue to them and have a good scope of corruption in big projects.

Both the governments are least bothered about safety, security, migration and the life of innocent villagers of dev bhoomi uttrakhand.
