PCI signs MOU with Supreme Hospital, Faridabad for treatment of PCI members and their family on CGHS rates

The management committee of Press Club of India today signed an agreement with the management of Supreme Hospital, Faridabad at Press Club of India in New Delhi. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Friday evening at the PCI precincts by the PCI president Gautam Lahiri on behalf of the PCI and P. S. Rana, Chairman of Supreme Hospital, Faridabad .

The secretary General of PCI Neeraj Thakur, former secretary general Vinay Kumar and Management Committee members journalists Ashraf Ali Bastavi, Sunil Negi, Shankar Anand, Anish Singh, Masood Bari, Vivek Mukherjee, Mr. Mayank, office secretary Jitendra Kumar, former member MC Vijay Shankar Chaturvedi were also present on this occasion.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between PCI and Supreme Hospital the latter agrees to provide treatment both in Patient and Out Patient Departments to the members and staff of Press Club of India and their family members on CHS rates on Cash payment basis.

The hospital management has also agreed in principle to hold health camps in PCI premises with good doctors on mutually agreed dates including Press Club of India agreeing to display publicity material of Supreme Hospital free of costs at its important events every year.

According to the MOU the Supreme Hospital has also agreed to provide treatment in all departments and facilities of the hospital on CGHS rates on the production of the PCI card.

In addition to the above, the PCI has also agreed to accord the status of health partner to Supreme Hospital and welcomed the hospital staff and their family members to avail the Club’s facilities as honoured guests etc.

The President of the PCI honoured the chairman of Supreme hospital with a PCI trophy as a gesture of benevolence and presented PCI membership card to the chairman Mr. Rana to avail Club’s all privileges as its honoured permanent member.
