PCI and Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan sign MOU at Club premises
The Press Club of India and the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan on Wednesday signed a MoU to provide a wide coverage of the cooperation between two countries and to contribute to the strengthening of mutual relations between media organisations of the two countries.
The MOU was signed by the president of Press Club of India Gautam Lahiri and the acting chairman of union of journalists of Uzbekistan Salimov Kholmourod Khujayvich in the presence of Uzbekistan Ambassador Sarodar Rustambaev.

The Uzbek envoy hailed the close historical and cultural ties between India and Uzbekistan and expressed the hope that people to people contacts between the two countries would grow further in the times to come. He said that Uzbekistan was hardly two hours away by flight from Delhi and many tourists and visitors from India were increasingly making conscious choice of Uzbekistan asa preferred destination. The entire delegation of Uzbekistan journalists were also felicitated by PCI at the Press Club premises.
