Pawandeep’s mother in tears after getting the thrilling news of her son becoming the Indian Idol
Pawandeep Rajan of Champavat, Uttarakhand is the new India Idol champion having won a prestigious trophy, cheque of Rs 25 lakhs and a Swift car from. Maruti Company.
The chairman and CEO of Soni Television N.P. Singh presented the Indian Idol trophy and cheque of Rs 25 lakhs to Rajan with Maruti’s senior official presenting him the keys of latest Maruti Swift car.
The two female finalists Arunita Kanjilal from West Bengal and Siyali from Maharashtra were second and third respectively.
The mother of Pawandeep was in tears after the result of winner son were declared by anchor of the show Aditya Narayan while his father and uncle were thrilled to acknowledge the news beyond their expectation, dancing in jubilation.
There were totally six finalists in the finale celebration, the first ever biggest show in India, running for twelve hours incessantly from 12 noon to 12 night on the historic 75 th Independence Day.
There is a wave of celebration in entire Uttarakhand especially its chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is in jubilant mode as he was the one who had heartily congratulated Pawandeep Rajan yesterday wishing him all the very best for becoming the champion pronouncing him the true son of Land of Abode of God’s, Uttarakhand.
During the last nine months stay in Mumbai, as a leading participant having impressed one and all through his mesmerising songs and melodious voice Pawandeep has been rated as a Super Star Singer of India and Bollywood having an extremely bright future getting advance contract for singing by eminent Bollywood music directors Bhappi Lahiri, Annu Malik and Himesh Reshamiya.
Just yesterday in a video posted in Instagram by Freemantle, the producer of this reality show has mentioned – how Pawandeep Rajan is missing his Pahadi delicacies as he is in Mumbai reality show Indian idol since September last year. He had expressed his hearty desire to consume the Pahadi dishes badly missed by him for the last nine months as soon as he returns back to his native place after winning the prestigious Indian Idol Trophy.
