Patwari of Yamkeshwar suspended after journalists who exposed the Ankita case meet CM
After the two investigative journalists of Jago Uttarakhand and Parvatjan met the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and complained about the inefficient and negligent attitude of the Patwari of Yamkeshwar who intentionally avoided the important case of Ankita’s disappearance reported quite in time, the CM has immediately responded leading to his suspension by the order of DM Pauri. The Patwari concerned Vaibhav Pratap Singh had been suspended on the charges of deliberately going on leave during this tragic incident and not informing his senior officers resulting in this huge tragedy including dereliction of duty with a suspicious track record having been warned several times earlier as well.
This, severe action was taken on the recommendation of SDM Yamkeshwar who had complained about the Patwari’s dereliction of duties including several earlier warnings issued to him. The letter of Patwari Vaibhav Pratap Singh’s suspension issued by DM Garhwal, IAS Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande is, self explanatory
