Parents of Colonel Sofia Qureshi at the road show of PM at Vadodara, Gujarat, PM meets them

The prime minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow in Vadodara, Gujarat in which hundreds of people welcomed him from both sides of the road. However, the most important persons who showered flowers and petals on Prime minister Narendra Modi and his cavalcade standing in jubilation to express their positive feelings for him were the parents and a twin sister of one of the Defence officers Sofia Qureshi. This was indeed a rare gesture by the parents of Sofia Qureshi welcoming the prime minister Narendra Modi at his Vadodara road show especially after one of the Madhya Pradesh ministers Vijay Shah equated her with the sister of Pak terrorists inviting tremendous criticism at the pan India level, against whom now the FIR has been lodged. The parents of Colonel Sofia Qureshi Taj Mohammed and Halima Qureshi including her sister who is a twin and just fifteen minutes younger said that they are proud of Colonel Sofia who as their daughter has raised their name, honour and prestige nationally. She is no longer our daughter or sister now but the daughter of the nation thanking the prime minister Narendra Modi. Colonel Sofia Qureshi and Commander Vyomika Singh were the two women defences officers who were given a chance to brief the Indian and global media on the war with Pakistan number of times bringing them in the national and global focus. The twin sister of Colonel Sofia Qureshi said while speaking to media that she and her entire family feels extremely proud of her and therefore she is now no more our sister or daughter but if the entire nation makes the family and the nation proud as a source of inspiration for the younger generation said Sofia’s jubilant sister. The parents said ” It felt great ( to be in the PM’s roadshow). We are immensely proud to meet the PM sir. Sofia is the daughter of the nation now who made everyone proud. Her mother Ms. Halima praised the ” OPERATION SINDOOR” for taking befitting revenge from the terrorists for wiping out the Sindoor of our sisters said Halima.
