Panic in Pauri township after a dead body of a man found in a shop at Dhara Road

Panic spread in the Pauri township as in a shop just hundred metres away from the District Magistrate’s office and the court including the offices of senior police officers, a dead body of a shopkeeper was found in his shop at Dhara Road, Pauri Garhwal today morning with curious onlookers collecting at the venue and the police reaching the spot to collect the necessary evidences.
It however remains to be seen whether the mysterious death was a murder or a natural death, though nothing is clear till now with people saying that there can be any possibility.
The police has taken the dead body in their possession and send for postmortem. The real reason behind this mysterious death could be ascertained only after the postmortem report is received said a police personal investigating the case.
Just seven days ago three diabolical murders of young girls took place in Dehradun and Rishikesh AIIMS within aspan of five days. There was lot of hue and cry with media coming down heavily in the police administration for negligence and deteriorating law and order situation in the state capital in particular and the state in general.
While two young girls were killed in Dehradun , one at Paltan Bazaar- Machchi Bajaar by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon and in another case a highly mutilated dead body of a 12 th class girl student was found.
The police are investigating all the cases and in Paltan Bazaar case the culprit had been arrested.
The DG police thereafter convened a meeting of the senior officers and suspended sub inspector in these cases for negligence and dereliction of duties.
