Outstanding actor, director, Producer Urmi Negi makes history
Uttarakhand’s daughter Urmi Negi created history by winning the Best Actress award for Batho – Subero Ghaam 2 at the prestigious European Film Union Gala International Film Festival held in Scotland.
She is the Producer, Director and actor playing main lead in Subheru Gham Bathaun 2 having already won five prestigious YUCA award in the national capital amid hundreds of her cheering enthusiastic fans for best movie, best actress, best cinematography, best direction and best singing with outstanding music.
Managing Director of Snowy mountain Productions , having produced several regional movies , directed and acted in lead role Urmi Negi has also been the co star with legendary Heroes of Bollywood Deva and, Rajesh Khanna, Mithun Chakraborty etc in films like Swamidada, Sautan, Dada etc in important roles.
Bathaon – Subero Ghaam * 2 made it to the final 15 out of 500 films from across the world at this festival held in Glasgow, Scotland.
The competition for the Best Actress award was between actresses from Uttarakhand (India), USA, Japan, France, Iran, Korea and Iceland and the winner was Urmi Negi for the Uttarakhandi film.
