One brutally killed and three grievously injured after a huge boulder fell on the car at Ratura, Rudraprayag
Yet another tragedy occured at Ratura, Rudraprayag in Garhwal, Uttarakhand after a huge boulder fell over a running car brutally killing an occupant instantaneously and grievously injuring three. The car with four occupants was heading for Dehradun from Deval. When it was passing through Deval though the road was completely clear with no traffic around a huge boulder fell on it smashing the car and brutally killing an occupant on the spot may due to the deceased being smashed with the car. This tragic incident sent shock waves all around. The local police and SDRF reached the accident spot and the dead body was received and injured ferried in ambulance to the nearby hospital for immediate treatment.
In another incident after reaching Kushma from Sasasdhara Lespar, several trees with massive landslide fell on the Bolero though till then everyone was safe but the situation was extremely sensitive as the landslide could reoccur.
