Once Mr. Uttarakhand today behind bar for brutally killing his friend for just Rs. 20000
The addiction whether of drugs or liquor leaves a man of no where. There are ample examples of people under the influence of excessive liquor committing various sensational crimes to name a negligible few – the Naina Sahni Tandoor murder, the international Wrestler Olympian Sushil Sharma undergoing life sentence in Tihar Prisons for murder and several other such brutal murders taking place in our society.
When a person is under the influence of excessive liquor he forgets his stature and commits heinous crimes putting to dustbin whatever he has earned as a prestigious outcome putting hard labour, dedication and commitment.
One such heinous crime has come to light in Roorkee, Uttarakhand where a Mr. Uttarakhand in 2019, killed his own close friend for just Rs. Twenty Thousand under the influence of liquor.
The murderer Mr. Uttarakhand was caught six days after the brutal murder when the Mangalore, Roorkee police after finding a decomposed dead body investigated the murder mystery threadbare.
According to the latest news the police revealed that the dead body is of Pradeep from Ghosipura. After the postmortom it was revealed that he was hit by a heavy stone on the head and earlier to that he was strangled to death.
The senior superintendent of police Navneet Singh Bhullar in a press conference revealed that on 17 th February the dead body was found by them at KAANWAD PAVEMENT.
After minutely inspecting and thoroughly investigating from around 250 CCTV footage the police saw the culprit Mr. Uttarakhand accompanying the deceased on his motorcycle.
Police arrested the culprit at the Devband trijunction and interrogated him in detail.
After intense interrogation the accused was identified as Vinayak Tyagi of village Barla , Police station Chapaar of district Mujaffarnagar , UP currently living in Jwalapur Haridwar.
Giving the details of the case the SSP said that on 17 February the accused was waiting for a bus outside the liquor shop in Roorkee.
He met one Pradeep his close friend and since the liquor shop was closed they went to Rampur Chungi and bought a liquor bottle.
They started drinking liquor in a garden nearby.
While interacting the culprit came to know that his friend is possessing Rs. 20000 with him. He immediately killed his friend, first strangulating him and then crushing his head with a huge stone. He took Rs. Twenty thousand and absconded.
It may be recalled that the culprit Vinay Tyagi had won the prestigious title of Mr. Uttarakhand in 2019 and earlier to that qualified his graduation from Doon College of Medical Sciences. He was a brilliant student but the habit of drugs and liquor consumption spoiled him to the core . He became addicted and that was the reason that Vinayak committed a brutal murder of his close friend for just Rs. Twenty thousand.
