On the second day at Kedarnath Dham Rahul Gandhi distributes meals to pilgrims, poor, and sadhus amid chanting of Har Har Mahadev
The former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on his second day stay in Kedarnath Dham temple site today distributed ” Prasad”, in a langar organised by him to saints, pilgrims and those who visited the historic shrine. Rahul Gandhi had reached the historic ancient shrine yesterday morning making it quite a personal affair with only a single politician, the former state president of Congress and ex srinagar MLA Ganesh Godiyal exhorting him at the temple premises with slogans of Har Har Mahadev. It is believed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be at Kedarnath for one more day. During the Langar ” the religious kitchen”, Rahul Gandhi himself distributed the meals ” POOR I AND SABZI”, to good number of saints, pilgrims and the helpless amid slogans of Har Har Mahadev. He also participated in the evening arti, interacted with pilgrims, students, youths, childrens, distributed evening tea to the pilgrims and today delivered meals in a ” LANGAR”.
However, a group of people, specifically bought by some one were raising slogans like Jai Shri Ram and Modi Modi obviously giving an impression that they were BJP supporters said a person not interested to be named. Kindly recall that yesterday, the Bageshwar Dham baba Dhirendra Shastri, Some prominent saints in saffron wears Swami Chidanand of Parmarth Niketan, Niranjali Amanda Guru, the Gupta brothers who donated gold to decorate the Kedarnath temple Garbh Grah Gupta brothers from Mumbai, union state minister Dev Singh Chouhan, his family, Gorakhpur MP Kailash Paswan n former UP MLA Sangeet Som had also visited Kedarnath Dham and offered prayers. Rahul Gandhi too had offered prayers at the Garbh Grah today and yesterday. The visit of Rahul Gandhi was unique in the sense that he kept this spiritual visit purely personal with no. Congress leader seen near him. This sounds good and disciplinary as his gesture has not resulted in any jam packed situation arising at the Temple site nor had Rahul given any political byte to any media men.
There weren’t any cameras or mobiles around him and the environment at the Kedarnath temple site was extremely peaceful with no politics or noise around. What sounds interesting test in spite the elections going on in five states with hectic campaigning on full swing Rahul Gandhi all of a sudden visited Kedarnath to pay his obeisance to Lord Shiva singularly with no flamboyance or pomp and show, not even disturbing the divinity and peace of the area.
The Pujaries ( priests) of Kedarnath Dham welcomed Rahul Gandhi amid slogans oc Har Har Mahadev. Political analysts see politics in this saying that Rahul’s sudden visit to Kedarnath and distributing meals to pilgrims n others do have political colours but Rahul Gandhi and his supporters deny this terming it just a spiritual visit adding that prime minister had been here five times then nobody said that his visit had any political or religious overtones but now when Rahul visits they come to different baseless conclusions.
