ON ROOF LEAK OF NEW PARLIAMENT AN AAP MP SAYS THAT A PARLIAMENT BUILT ON THE EXPENDITURE OF RS 1200 HAS TO DEPEND ON A BUCKET OF RS 1200
Yesterday’s torrential rains in the national capital has almost inundated half of Delhi with traffic jams everywhere and various agencies exposed as excessive rain has entered parliament House precincts , even new building’s roof leaking raising quite a furore in the parliament today.
Even the Uttar Pradesh Assembly was inundated badly due to the floods.
According to the latest news, the lutyens Zone which houses various ministries, parliament building , Rashtrapati Bhawan, Press club , Chelmsford club the excessive rains’ filthy water have entered the premises.
The former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi party leader Akhilesh Yadav couldn’t wait and has ridiculed the roof of the new parliament building leaking posting a picture exhibiting picture of a blue bucket “Baalti” kept below accepting the leaked water inside parliament building and an official curiously looking at. He posted on his X in Hindi : The old parliament was better than this new parliament, where even the old MPs could come and meet. Why not go back to the old parliament, at least till the time the water dripping program is going on in the parliament built with billions of rupees. People are asking whether water dripping from every new roof constructed under the BJP government is a part of their well thought out design or… write Akhilesh in X.
Meanwhile, the Central Public Works Department has issued clarification on the statement of Akhilesh Yadav targeting the ruling political dispensation for this lapse. The CPWD official said that due to scorching heat and rains thereafter the silicon on the window panes of the roof have been shattered resulting in this problem. The issue has been rectified immediately . The structure of the parliament and water proofing is in good condition now said the CPWD authority.
It may be recalled that the construction of the new parliament building has taken place under the strict supervision and monitoring of the PM and the PMO reveals news reports.
The prime minister had inspected the new parliament building while it was being constructed. The inspection tours of parliament building n central Vista project was duly covered in the electronic and print media inviting quite a curiosity of the countrymen. To reminiscence when prime minister returned from his foreign tour he had straight away arrived at the Parliament building under construction to watch the development. The new Parliament House has been built on Raisina Road and Red Cross now becoming an important part of both these roads viz Raisina n Red cross roads.
Several opposition leaders of I.N.D.I.A bloc including vociferous TMC MP Mohua Moitra and Congress MP Manikam Tagore have ridiculed the ruling party after watching the video of the parliament roof leak and water accumulated in old parliament precincts due to rains.
The TMC outspoken leader and MP Mahua Moitra said that the water is leaking from the new parliament building.
This is absolutely relevant as after the 2024 elections this building has become weak. One more matter from Bharat Mandapam has now leaked she said.
The Congress MP Manikam Tagore while making mockery of the leak in parliament said that outside parliament the NEET papers are being leaked and inside new parliament is leaking with rainwater. While this discussion ridiculing the leakage in parliament was going on the AAP MP said : Sounds shocking that parliament built on the expenditure of Rs.1200 crores has to now depend on the “BALTEE” WORTH RS 1200 with everyone bursting into laughter. There had been earlier controversies about the Ram Temple roof being leaked and also the roof of Vande Bharat bullet train leaking abruptly. The opposition parties have been criticizing the ruling BJP since it returned to power in 2024 on leaks issue whether it is NEET Paper LEAKS, Ram Temple n Vande Bharat roof leaks, Mandapam leaks of parliament roof leaks said the Congress leader humourously while talking to Uknationnews.
