The union minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting Ashwani Vaishnav has agreed to add to 2AC compartment to the ongoing 14089/ 14090 Anand Vihar Kotdwar Express train and has officially accorded the sanction for the same on the request of the Pauri Garhwal, MP Anil Baluni who is also the national media In-charge of the BJP in Delhi.
This is genuinely a good news for the Kotdwar traders and residents and also from Pauri who commute by this train as there was a consistent demand for adding two AC coaches to the Anand Vihar Kotdwar Express and majority of the Kotdwar businessmen and traders committee from Kotdwar to Delhi and Vice Versa in connection with their business dealing, as Kotdwar despite being a gateway to Pauri Garhwal is also a major business centre.
It may be recalled that the Garhwal MP Anil Baluni had acknowledged this demand from the trading community of Kotdwar and had assured them for getting it fulfilled.
He has met the union Railway minister Ashnavi Vaishnav in this regard and submitted a letter to him as well requesting for the above needful to be done at the earlier to which the Railway minister agreed upon proactively.
In addition to the request for adding the AC2 Compartment in the Kotdwar Anand Vihar Express Anil Baluni has also requested for extending this service to Jaipur which according to him is under active consideration.
