NITISH TO JOIN NDA AGAIN, WILL REMAIN CM AND SUSHIL MODI DEPUTY CM ?
The electronic news channels are hectically engaged in speculating that the Bihar chief minister and important leader, rather architect of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance Nitish Kumar is joining BJP led NDA in the near future.
Some news channels have even fixed 28 th January as the date of Nitish’s joining the BJP and he will continue as the chief minister with Sushil Modi of BJP as the deputy chief minister of the state. Rest of the cabinet will be constituted on the earlier formula when Nitish was with them before 2019.
This speculation about Nitish Joining the BJP has been termed as mere rumours but worried Lalu Prasad Yadav, the founder of RJD had phoned Nitish Kumar yesterday trying to keep him in good humour. He also called the RJD meeting.
However, despite this news being a planted rumour – some leaders of BJP and even other parties including the journalists covering this development do say that politics is the game of possibility and nobody is friend or foe in politics etc.
However, majority of the leaders in JD (U) and even Nitish Kumar are tight lipped having not denied the rumours giving further hope of his probable joining the BJP in the near future ?
However, the chief advisor cum spokesman, former MP K. C. Tyagi has been saying that his party and leader Nitish Kumar are the architects of INDIA and very much desirous of being the important constituent of it despite TMC chief and West Bengal chief minister Mamta Banerjee announcing about going alone in West Bengal.
Upendra Kushwaha, former JD (U) leader, now in BJP – on being asked about the news going on regarding Nitish’s possibility of joining BJP, said that Nitish is an opportunist but he had not heard anything about any such move.
The state BJP president Samrat Choudhary who met the Union home minister Amit Shah said that though his meeting was regarding the Lok Sabha polls but Amit ji and JP Nadda had already made it clear that all the doors in BJP have now been closed. Regarding the rumours about Nitish Kumar joining the BJP, Samrat Choudhary said for us he ( Nitish) is an opportunist politician who changes allies like clothes. When Lok Jana Shakti Party chief and son of late Ram Vilas Paswan, MP Chirag Paswan was asked a question about Nitish joining BJP, he said that this is a Hypothetical question and rumours such as this has no relevance.
Kindly recall that when West Bengal chief minister Mamta Banerjee and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal backed the name of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge for presidentship, the architect of INDIA Bihar CM Nitish Kumar was annoyed, though he was appointed the chairman of the INDIA BLOC. This will be the fifth time change of camp by Nitish if he really joins BJP as the news are floating.
