Nine die in a massive fire in Delhi’s presidential Palam area in Wednesday

A massive fire broke out in a residential building in Delhi’s Palam area, causing widespread panic. Nine people have been confirmed dead so far, while several others have suffered serious burns.

A total of 18-19 people were reportedly present in the building, of which approximately nine were reportedly trapped. Rescue operations were immediately initiated at the scene, and more than 20 fire engines were deployed to extinguish the blaze.

The fire was so severe that some people were forced to jump from the rooftops to save their lives, resulting in injuries. With the help of local residents and firefighters, many were safely evacuated.

According to preliminary information, the building had only one exit, which made it difficult for people to get out, making the situation even more dire.

The cause of the fire is currently unclear. Police and the fire department are investigating the incident. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital and are receiving treatment.

The vociferous AAP leader and MP Sanjay Singh met the victims’ family and expressed his condolences. He said this is not an accident, it’s murder.
