NDA partners including Nitish Kumar and TDP chief N.Chandrababu Naidu give their written consent of support to Narendra Modi
The outgoing prime minister Narendra Modi was today re- elected as the leader of National Democratic Front with unanimity in a meeting attended by the leaders of all the political parties of NDA extending their whole hearted support to Mr.Narendra Modi. All the leaders of NDA representing their respective parties including Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar n JD( U) leader Nitish Kumar and Telugu Desam Party leader N. Chandrababu Naidu commanding the support of 28 MPs the largest chunk on whose support the Modi government will ultimately last and move forward were present in this meeting including the outgoing union home minister Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and party chief J.P. Nadda. There were 21 leaders of the different “Ghataks” of NDA. On 7 th June all the MPs of NDA would be holding the meeting of the parliamentary party and after officially electing Narendra Modi as their leader , all the NDA leaders would go to President Droupadi Murmu and stake their claim to form the government finally taking the swearing in on 8 th June at Rashtrapati Bhawan. This time the BJP party is short of majority with thirty two seats and therefore is majorly banking on these two major parties and several others. In nutshell the remote control of the future Modi government would be in the hands of these two leaders and would be functioning on their dictates. The resolution passed in the meeting in Hindi read : The 140 crore Indians have seen in the last ten years that the nation has developed in all areas due to the welfare oriented schemes under the able leadership of respected Prime minister Narendra Modi. After a long time i.e. six decades, the country has reposed faith and elected a strong leader with absolute majority. We all are feeling extremely proud that NDA has contested the 2024 election under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi unitedly and won it hands down. We all, the leaders of NDA elect respected Narendra Modi as our leader with unanimity. The NDA government under the leadership of Narendra Modi is committed to serve the poor women, youth, farmers , depressed, oppressed and victimised of the country. The NDA government would be selflessly contributing for the overall development of the country and to improve the lot of every person of the country said the resolution passed in the meeting with the consent of all. The meeting was held at prime minister Narendra Modi’s 7 Lok Kalyan Marg official residence.
Meanwhile there are reports that all the NDA partners would be meeting the president Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan in the meeting hosted by her in honour of the outgoing PM and his council of ministers this evening and may present her the consent letters of all the supporting partners of NDA expressing their full faith in the leadership of Narendra Modi as their future prime minister. The delegation of NDA led by prime minister Narendra Modi may stake their claim to form the next government.There are reports that the outgoing prime minister would be sworn in as the next PM on 8 th June at a swearing in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
