National media panelist and Congress leader Sujata ridicules the few print media outlets of Uttarakhand for misreporting and praising CM Dhami
Sounds extremely ridiculous that the responsible print media outlets of Uttarakhand are so openly misreporting several events and highlighting the politicians who allegedly benefitted them that the fourth estate considered to be a transparent safeguard of democracy is being denigrated to the core.
In the recent past there have been several videos and news in social media that the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has during the last five years allocated a huge budget of Rs. 1000 crores on various media channels , print and digital media including advertisements and outdoor publicity to enhance his government’s image thus benefitting these media outlets.
According to some news analysts and political leaders of Congress these media outlets in order to oblige the ruling political dispensation of Uttarakhand and its chief minister are out of the way giving him ( CM Dhami) credit of publicity even twisting the statement of the union home minister Amit Shah who had visited Rishikesh the other day and lauded the spiritual heads Shri Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj and one other saint for playing a vital role in spreading the message of religious mobilisation and safeguarding the Hindu sanatan dharm values.
The regional leading newspapers including national dailies reported with a title that the union home minister Amit Shah has appreciated the relentless efforts and initiatives of Uttarakhand CM for propagating the wide message of the flame of Sanatan religion at the pan India level whereas the fact of the matter is the union home minister has complimented Acharya Shri Govind Dev Maharaj ji and Parampujya Dwaracharya Swamy reverted saint, exclusively.
The Congress woman spokesperson on social media said that this is the height of irresponsible journalism by the leading Hindi papers of Uttarakhand to misreport an important event and the speech of the home minister giving entire credit of compliments to CM whereas the fact of the matter is that the home minister had actually accorded his appreciation to the two leading saints of Rishikesh in his address and not to the CM.
Sujata Paul, of Uttarakhand Congress said that union home minister lauds the Saints of Shantikunj and the media is praising the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami adding making mockery of CM saying : Jai Ho 1001 Crore vigyapan dene wale Baba Dhami ji ki. She asked the print media journalist : How much Chatukarita will you do ? How much low will you stopped to ? asked vociferous Congress leader Sujata Paul.
