Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi quits as minister, meets BJP chief Nadda. To meet PM this evening! May be future Vice president!

There are speculations that the Union Minister Mukhtas Abbas Naqvi is going to be the next vice president of India as the tenure of the current vice president P. Venkaiah Naidu comes to an end on 6 th August 2022. According to reliable sources Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has, already tendered resignation from the Union cabinet as directed by the party high command and had also met the national BJP chief J. P. Nadda. In the evening he is to meet the prime minister Narendra Modi and thereafter home minister Amit Shah as well. Kindly recall that the saffron party has already declared the former governor of Jharkhand Draupadi Murmu as its candidates who is a renowned tribal leader of Odisa having risen from a teacher and state minister to the top slot. Her election to the top slot is being considered as a sure sort chance. According to article 56(1) of the Constitution the tenure of the vice president is for five years. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, former minority affairs Union Minister and spokesman of the party, several times would replace the present V P – P. Venkaiah Naidu whose name was also doing rounds for the post of president before the declaration of the name of former Jharkhand governor Draupadi Murmu who is also a renowned tribal leader. The Vice President of India also holds the permanent post of the Vice Chairman of Rajya, Sabha. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is also the deputy leader of the BJP in Rajya Sabha and his term is also expiring. The Prime minister has lauded the role of the Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Ram Prasad Singh of JD ( U) as parliamentarians during their tenure as minister n RS member having contributed to the nation and the party, while addressing the meeting of Union cabinet.
