MP Trivendra Rawat thanks PM for appointing him as the Chairman FCI, Uttarakhand

The Haridwar member of parliament who is considered in close proximity to the union minister Amit Shah has been appointed as the chairman of Food Corporation of India, Uttarakhand. However, for a politician who had been the CM of a state for four years as was Trivendra Singh Rawat of Uttarakhand appointment to the IFC chairmanship of Uttarakhand seems to be quite a small post compared to the stature of the ex CM who is also the Haridwar MP for the first term. This question is being posed in social media posts. It may be recalled that Trivendra Singh Rawat was the chief minister of Uttarakhand from 2017 to 2021 and had to leave his post in between due to several controversies being replaced by Tirath Singh Rawat, the then MP of Garhwal constituency. Expressing his jubilation over his appointment to this signification position Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat said that after assuming this important position he will be able to bring transparency in the working of FCI in Uttarakhand and ensuring that its storage is made foolproof and on major scale. Lauding prime minister Narendra Modi Trivendra Singh Rawat MP said that our PM is doing his best to reduce the Food availability and storage on a very big scale in the country including better storage of the produce of the farmers from all over the country. He thanked prime minister Narendra Modi for bestowing on him this important assignment.
