There is rain of money on the only Gold medalist of India Neeraj Chopra who has raised the Indian tri color high in Tokyo Olympics becoming the first Olympics Gold medalist and second individual winner with eminent international India shooter Abhinav being the first. Extremely overwhelmed and jubilant after Neeraj Chopra’s outstanding victory bringing Gold for the nation, Haryana and Punjab chief Ministers Manohar Lal Khatter and Captain Amrinder Singh have announced Rs 6 crores and Rs two crores respectively with a government job in Haryana government with BCCI and Super Chennai Kings announcing Rs One crore each including Rs 25 lakhs by Illan group. However, there are yet possibilities of several individual and monetary awards to be showered on him. The Sports Authority of India will also give him a cheque of Rs one crore that is officially due by the central government. According to the latest news apart from sanctioning Rs six crores, the Haryana CM has announced giving him a class 1 govt job, a plot with fifty percent concession in its cost and construction of a building known as centre of excellence bhawan for the athletes with an offer if Javelin Gold medalist gives his consent to head it. The Olympics Gold medalist Neeraj lives in Haryana and primarily belongs to Punjab with their ancestral roots there. The chief minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh while announcing the state governments decision to give Rs 2 crores to Chopra said that the entire country and Punjab is proud of him. In addition to these monetary sanctions the chairman of Mahindra n Mahindra, Anand Mahindra has announced giving Neeraj Chopra an XYU 700 as the company’s present to him for bringing laurels for the country winning Gold medal in Javelin throw.
