Mohan Yadav sworn in as MP CM in the presence of PM and HM

The 58 year old Mohan Yadav, hailing from OBC, a three term state lawmaker and former minister of education in MP cabinet has been sworn in as the new chief minister of Madhya Pradesh this morning.

Along with him the two deputy chief ministers Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda also took the oath.

The prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah were also present at the oath taking ceremony.

Shortly after the oath taking ceremony the outgoing chief minister who ruled MP for 15 protracted years congratulated the new CM saying that his successor is a hard working politician. He said that he is highly optimistic that he will under the able guidance of the Prime minister Narendra Modi take the state to new heights of progress and prosperity. Many congratulations and best wishes for the new responsibility said outgoing CM Shiv Raj Singh Chouhan who has been sidelined reminding everyone about the fate of late deputy PM L. K. Advani and former HRD minister Murli Manohar Joshi.

Before taking the oath, the newly sworn in CM of MP went to seek blessings in a temple and then to the BJP office seeking blessing of the founder of Jana Sangh Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Beer Savarkar.

Hailing from a modest background with his father being a tea seller from OBC, Mohan Yadav started his career in politics from student days joining ABVP and then continuing in BJP as its state executive member, chairman of a state govt body and thereafter three time MLA, besides possessing sword swinging skills with a good academic background holding Phd, LLB degree and being an MBA.

His appointment was indeed a surprising news to all including for the outgoing CM Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan whose video crying loudly is also going viral in social media.

There were several claimants for the post of Madhya Pradesh CM , first and foremost being Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan who did his best to ensure party’s landslide victory in MP followed by Narendra Singh Tomar, former union minister now made the speaker of the state assembly, union minister and himself an OBC Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jai Vardhan Singh Rathore etc.

However, the jackpot went in favour of Mohan Yadav finally, being a grass root worker with an RSS background.

It’s not only in MP but in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh too , the new comers have been chosen as chief Ministers keeping the outgoing CMs at bay, keeping two of them satisfied with speaker’s post.

In Rajasthan too, the outgoing CM and a heavy weight Vasundhara Raje Scindia who had become rebel has been shown the door very politely being of nowhere reminding us of the fate suffered by stalwarts Lal Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi.
