Meeting between Russia and Ukraine remains inconclusive with UNGA session still in progress. More than 400 dead, two thousand n more injured and 5 lakh leave Ukraine
Despite after five days of Russian attack on Ukraine killing about more than four hundred people with Russian Army also suffering casualties including more than two thousand people wounded and about five lakh people having left the war torn country, especially its capital city Kyiv, the bipartite negotiations between the senior officials and ministers of both the nation that went on for about four hours could not arrive at any concrete conclusion with next round of talks to be held shortly. In these inconclusive talks on the initiative and pressure of Russian President Vladimir Putin, with Ukrainian’s thirty five year old president Volodymyr Zelensky submitting to the former’s pressure, the talks could not arrive at any amicable solution as the victim of the war, Ukraine officials n former minister of culture unambiguously demanded immediate withdrawal of Russian troops and forces out of Ukraine, including withdrawal of troops from Cremia and Donbas as well, which are in Russia’s control since the last eight years. In may be recalled that the meeting between Russian and Ukrainian officials was held at Gomel instead of Minsk in Belarus, despite objection of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zenlesky accusing Belarus for allowing Russian forces to attack his country and killing hundreds of innocent citizens, including women and children. Till now, almost entire Kyiv is under the control of Russian troops who’ve entered the Ukrainian capital surrounding it from all sides and heavily bombarding the government and private residential buildings and market places with rockets and missiles including artillery firing on the ground killing more than four hundred people and compelling more than five lakh citizens and students as well as employees of foreign countries working in Ukraine, leaving the Ukrainian borders and entering neighbouring countries viz. Hungary, Poland, Romania and Modolov etc. There had also been confirmed reports of physically thrashing n kicking of Indian students especially girls students at the Ukraine borders and Poland etc by the gaurds of Ukraine. During the last five day attacks the Russian troops have fired unaccounted number of missiles and rockets on residential buildings as well as market buildings killing several innocent Ukrainian citizens n children. There are also reports of several Indian girl students missing or being allegedly kidnapped as per the videos going viral in social media. One of the victim students in Ukraine has while speaking to NDTV Mansi Choudhary has explained her grievances and several other students saying that the girl students were literally thrashed, kicked by the guards at the Ukranian border including thrashing them holding their hair using abusive languages. They were not allowed to cross the Poland border compelling them to return back to their hostels. While appreciating the Indian embassy officials of providing food and other support system she added that they were helpless too as they can’t do anything till we don’t cross the border and enter the neighbouring countries like Poland, Romania or Hungary etc. Meanwhile, adamant Russian President Vladimir Putin is not ready to relent or declare ceasefire in Ukraine and is hell bent upon forming the puppet government of Russian stooge in Ukraine with the present President Volodymyr Zelensky in his televised address stating that he is not a traitor and is very much in Ukraine, only, and his family too and will fight the Russian troops tooth and nail sacrificing his life in his own country. Meanwhile, the United States of America has announced the defence aid of Rs. 450 million dollars with all the NATO countries including Germany and Finland assuring of massive financial and defence aid of one thousand anti tank missiles n other defence equipments to Ukraine, with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky taking pledge to fight till the end and appealing to European Union to includehis country in EU as a special case forthwith as its member. The NATO countries have applied massive sanctions against Russia and Russia too had disconnected the entire flights of NATO countries to Russia severing all diplomatic relations with them. The NATO nations such as Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Canada n several countries have imposed strict sanctions against Russia adversely affecting it and its economy. The special session of UNGA ( United Nations General Assembly) and UNSC is also being held midnight un Geneva to apply cumulative pressure on Russia to withdraw forces from Ukraine and announce a ceasefire. The UN session is still going on.
