Massive fire in Anarkali building at Jhandewalan. Everything finished but no human loss. Fire extinguished after two hours

A massive fire broke out in a building of a shopping Complex at Jhandewalan , New Delhi almost destroying the entire building with glass shields which continued for more than two hours. There was panic all around though thankfully no loss of human lives. The fire tenders cane into action after some time with eight fire tenders pressed into service for two hours incessantly. The fire fighting staff and the Police really had a very hard day controlling the fire in two hours. According to the news reports the Anarkali building which caught this fire is a DDA building with five storey. The building was reportedly under repair at the time of the building catching fire. The fire department had to call the cranes to reach to he top of the building to control the fire as the fire had reached the fifth floor of the building. The building comprised of several offices like the ICCI bank , Dominos Pizza, etc with cash in large quantity burnt in the fire. The fire in Anarkali building was so massive that the entire building was destroyed. In another incident in Noida too a fire broke out in Sector 18, Krishna Plaza. The police and fire fighters reached the spot in time and successfully douse the fire . Those injured have been admitted in the hospital . It is believed that the fire broke out due to short circuit. The police checked all the floors but remaining floors are also being checked. There was no report of any casualty thankfully. According to ANI Fire broke out in Anarkali building and DDA shopping Complex Jhandewalan. Fire tenders and police personnel are at the spot. Some vehicles parked nearby have also caught fire.Firefightung operation is underway.
