A massive fire broke out in Fitadi village under the jurisdiction of Mori block in Uttarkashi where eight house were badly burnt leading to six storehouses of grain destroyed fully including death of three cows and household articles worth rupees several lakhs burnt thus adversely affecting the twelve families. The village was literary in ruins with everything perished in these 12 families.
As a result of this tragedy the entire village is in panic mode badly distressed .
The area MLA Durgesh Lal arrived and paid his condolences and parted grief also arranging the necessary financial compensation due to the affected Families.
He assured every impacted family to meet the chief minister and arrange the maximum financial compensation and other kind of support for the affected families due to this massive fire.
The district administration is working on full swing to provide relief to the affected families including every possible medical help.
After ravishing fire information spread like a wild fire, the fire department, police, disaster management teams, and revenue officials reached the spot.
The district magistrate Prashant Arya too reached the affected village and started monitoring the situation.
He immediately issued orders to arrange the relief materials including food and medicines etc and deliver them to the affected families.
