MAHILA CONGRESS CHIEF OF UTTARAKHAND ARRESTED WHILE DEMANDING JUSTICE FOR ANKITA BHANDARI FROM PM
The Ankita Bhandari case has gained tremendous momentum in entire Uttarakhand and also become the core issue during the elections with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and its leaders becoming the direct target of people’s protests. The union minister and a renowned TV actress who tries to become the troubleshooter of the ruling political dispensation at the centre on various issues, a strong betenoire of Nehru Gandhi family was speechless at Pauri when she was asked about her reaction on the Ankita Bhandari’s brutal murder in which the son and cohorts of a BJP leader , a former state minister of Uttarakhand and his another son who too was a state minister rank holder with RSS background were directly involved and now behind bars.
The name of the VIP is still a mystery who was allegedly demanding a special service from Ankita Bhandari , a 19 year old fragile innocent poor girl of Garhwal and who was compelled to meet her tortuous brutal end as she bravely opposed his proposals to oblige him.
The issue ( was ) and is still so hot up that the traumatised parents of late Ankita Bhandari and Ashutosh Negi, journalist cum activist, a main force behind the movement to demand stringent punishment to the culprits and revelation of the name of the mysterious VIP of allegedly RSS background as named by the anguished mother of the deceased publicly and also written to Pauri DM , have to sit on indefinite Dharna near Srinagar Garhwal with the issue also raised in Uttarakhand Assembly by the Congress MLA from Pratap Nagar Vikram Singh Negi.
The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal has given their ticket to Ashutosh Negi, Journalist cum activist to contest from Pauri Garhwal constituency to raise this issue and ensure justice to late Ankita Bhandari and her traumatised parents which still seems to be a distant dream with the ruling party allegedly going slow as accused by the deceased’s anguished parents’.
The activist, journalist Ashutosh Negi was jailed on unsubstantiated SC ST Act just because he posed a great challenge to the ruling party of Uttarakhand bringing the BJP under questioning for keeping the issue unattended and not delivering justice to the anguished parents despite several assurances given to them by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Meanwhile, today the furious president of Uttarakhand Mahila Congress Jyoti Rautela and two of her Mahila Congress colleagues has been arrested after they were marching with postcards in their hands and raising anti BJP and anti government slogans demanding justice to Ankita Bhandari.
They were also raising slogans against PM Modi shouting Modiji go back and BJP Murdabad. The prime minister is in Uttarakhand today to address a massive gathering.
While they were on their protest march shouting anti govt and anti BJP slogans, the policemen ran behind Jyoti Rautela with banner in her hand, raising slogans and arrested her forcibly with the Mahila Congress leader literally lying down on the road.
Kindly recall that the Ankita Bhandari matter is being raised tooth and nail by both Uttarakhand Kranti Dal candidate Ashutosh Negi and Ganesh Godiyal of Congress with Anil Baluni on back foot confronting this vital issue wherever he is going to seek support in his favour.
