Large part of Uttarakhand population not getting Ayushman Card facility

There are many discrepancies in the treatment being done through Ayushman Card and the process of making the card. It is very important to resolve them in time.

This is raising a lot of questions on the working style of the government. National President of Nationalist Regional Party Shivprasad Semwal said in a press conference held at the Press Club that for some time now, only ration card has been made mandatory for making Ayushman cards in Uttarakhand.

In such a situation, those who do not have a ration card are unable to make an Ayushman card. Those who do not even need a ration card are also forced to make a ration card.

Under the income limit for making a ration card, citizens earning more than 40,000 per month or 5 lakh cannot get a ration card.

Shivprasad Semwal accused the government of adopting a double standard and said that the state government keeps saying from time to time that there is no income limit for making Ayushman card, but if seen from this perspective, a ration card cannot be made for a family earning more than Rs 40,000 per month. Therefore, Ayushman card cannot be made either.

Due to this, people are forced to hide their income and the government does not have any effective mechanism to know the exact income of people doing private business due to which, people are forced to make ration cards for making the Ayushman card even though there is no need for ration card to them.

Nationalist Regional Party patron Suresh Chandra Juyal said that a large population of Uttarakhand is not getting the benefit of Ayushman scheme while people of Uttar Pradesh and other states are taking advantage of it.

He said that there are 25 to 26 crore ration cards in Uttar Pradesh but only 5 crore people have Ayushman cards, while there is no limit on making Ayushman cards in Uttarakhand. Therefore, people from Uttar Pradesh and other states are also coming to Uttarakhand and making ration cards and getting treatment with Ayushman cards, the direct burden of which is falling on the revenue of Uttarakhand, because this money is paid from the money of the taxpayers of Uttarakhand, whereas the government could have used this money for other development works.

Sir, even though the government has made ration card mandatory for Ayushman card, despite this, in some public service centers, Ayushman cards are being made only on the basis of Aadhar card, in this way about Rs 3000 are being taken from those making Ayushman cards.

Sir, apart from this it is also important for you to know that private hospitals first get tests done from Ayushman card holders for Rs. 25,000 to 50,000 and only after that they agree to admit them and only then they are able to issue Ayushman card.

Semwal alleged that in the hospital, Ayushman card holders are treated as second class citizens and there is reluctance in admitting them, due to which the purpose of Ayushman card is not being achieved. Apart from this, there is another important point, under which Ayushman card is not implemented in hospitals like Kailash and Max.

It is unfortunate in itself that the government has failed to implement Ayushman card in these hospitals due to which there is no pressure of the government on private hospitals in a welfare government.

Ayushman card is not implemented in hospitals like Kailash and Max , Synergy and CMI.

When the government is unsuccessful in bringing hospitals under the ambit of Ayushman card, then how will it be able to ensure the effective use of Ayushman card?
Apart from this, there is a need to improve the contracts of Ayushman Yojana with private hospitals. When embezzlement is caught, they get off easily. This increases the recurrence of the crime.
This is a big question mark in itself.

This is also an important question in itself that when the government is not able to provide treatment to the Golden Card holders in hospitals even after paying the premium, then how will it be able to ensure the effective use of the Ayushman Card !

Party’s state president Sulochana Ishtwal said that you should take cognizance of this very important issue of public interest in time and immediately remove all the above discrepancies. Otherwise the public’s anger against the government can come on the streets anytime.

On this occasion, patron of Nationalist Regional Party Suresh Chandra Juyal, state president Sulochana Ishtwal, organization co-secretary Rajendra Gusain, Dayanand Manori, Meena Thapliyal, Shanti Chauhan, Ranjana Negi etc were present.
