Lal Singh Chaddha collects Rs 51.08 crores in 8 days though collection came down considerably on 7 th & 8 th day to less than 2 crores ! Amir sailing in troubled waters !

The controversial movie Lal Singh Chaddha produced by Amir Khand and Kiran Khan, his former wife after four years in collaboration with Via Com 18 Studious etc has till now collected Rs 51 crores during 8 days after being released at the pan India level. On the very first day the movie collected Rs 12 crores followed by Rs. 7.5 crores the other day. The trend analysts however were not satisfied with this outcome though Lal Singh Chaddha kept Raksha Bandhan of Akshay Kumar still behind even on the eighth day. The producers of the movie Lal Singh Chadha made with the investment of Rs 180 crores starring Amir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and a new actor for the first time Naga Chaitanya directed by Advait Chandan, initially were very much enthused when the movie invited controversies after controversy with Amir appealing to his fans n those opposing the movie not to boycott it and seeking repeated apologies, expecting that it will break all records. But the way the collection came down gradually after collecting Rs 12 crores in the first day, the producers were extremely worrisome. However, after collecting 51 crores in a week the producers think that they will gradually cover the money invested in the movie and earn profits as well. The way trend analysts and producers had high hopes with this movie earlier, it could not do so till date. If we look at the day wise collection of Lal Singh Chaddha on the first day of 11 th August it collected Rs. 11.70 crores, on second day the collection was Rs. 7.26 crores, the third day collection was Rs. 9 crores, on 4 th day it enhanced to Rs 10 crores, on 5 th day it came down to 7.47 crores. However, on 6 th, 7 th and eighth day it’s sale went down considerably being less than 2.50 crores, meaning on 6 th day the sale came down to Rs. 210 crores, followed by Rs 1.70 and Rs 1.45 crores on seventh n eighth day. Amir Khan must be definitely worried as now the collection trend is going down to the lowest never ever expected by the producers of the movie which is the remake of the box office hit American movie FORREST GUMP.
