A controversial film Lal Singh Chaddha produced by Amir Khan Productions and Via come 18 studios released on 11 th August all over India drawing a business of Rs 12 crores on the first day and Rs 7.50 crores on the second day i. e. Friday is being lauded and praised all over the country. The film Raksha Bandhan featuring Akshay Kumar released the same day did the business of Rs 8 crores on Friday and Rs 5.25 crores to 6.25 crores the other day , still lagging behind LSC.
However, it was predicted in news that the first day collections of LSC would be of Rs 5 crores though the producers have kept the first day target at Rs 15 crores. These movies were released on 11 th August.
Produced by leading Bollywood actor producer Amir Khan, Lal Singh Chadda which is the remake of American movie Forrest Gump came into controversy since the last few weeks and Amir Khan, his co star heroine Kareena Kapoor Khan did lot of hard work to stage shows for prominent media editors and important personalities including actors of the South n Bollywood to convince them about the goodness of the movie.
Khan even sought apologies in public saying that if anyone is hurt by his movie though it is not the case, at all, he is ready to apologise trying to appease his opponents.
He appealed not to boycott his film made with good n noble intention. He was trolled in social media though there had also been reports that he had changed some of the objectionable scenes from the movie which he termed as inadvertent and unintentional lapses.
Amir Khan has made this movie after a gap of four years. While talking to media he said that he could not sleep the whole night before the release of the movie which is now being lauded by one and all, especially those who’ve seen it.
According to trend analyst Taran Adarsh Lal Singh Chaddha movie has been shockingly low on day one. He tweeted : The dull start has added to the word of an ailing industry… Better at premium multiplexes, but mass circuits are weak… Needs to score big numbers from Friday to Sunday to salvage the situation… rs 12 cr # India biz * All* VERSIONS.
Lal Singh Chaddha directed by Advait Chandan and music given by Pritam was made with the total expenditure of Rs. 180 crores. It’s script has been written by Atul Kulkarni while the writer of Forrest Gump was Eric Roth.
The trend analyst Taran Adarsh has also posted details about 5 previously released film in 2022 mentioning the first day earning. According to him, Bhul Bhulaiyya earned Rs 14.11 crores on the first day of it’s release followed by Bachchan Pandey earning 13.25 crore. LSC 12 crore, Samrat Prithviraj 10.70 crore n Gangu Bai Kathiyawadi Rs 10.50 crores.
What is important to mention here is that two films released earlier in 2022 like Bhul Bhulayya and Bachchan Pandey which earned more than Lal Singh Chaddha on the first day were not controversial films like the latter. However, Gangu Bai did came into controversy, but could not earn like Lal Singh Chaddha did. After watching the movie the response about the outcome of the movie LSC has been worth appreciating with majority of the audience giving it 5 on 5 on being asked praising Amir Khan tremendously saying that he is an unmatched actor and producer. The movie has nothing objectionable as was being talked about and it carries all the plusses with no negative scenes that hurt anyone said the audience to media men.
