Kishore Upadhyay says this is the time to repay the obligation to Congress at a crucial time instead of blaming
The former Congress chief of Uttarakhand and Industrial advisor to then CM Narain Dutt Tiwari Kishore Upadhyay has today played a sixer being not in so good terms with the former Uttarakhand CM n Chairman of the UK election campaign committee Harish Rawat after he dropped a bombshell in Congress yesterday by stating that his hands have been tied by the top brass of Congress on whose advise he was to swim in the ocean oriented elections.
He also stated in his tweet that these leaders are non cooperating with him outrightly. He even threatened to quit diplomatically writing that sometimes he feels that it’s enough now and should give up n rest but said that he leaves it on Lord Badrinath.
Harish Rawat’s accusations on the top brass of the party has created quite a furore in the Congress corridors of Uttarakhand and among the high ups with media channels and print media making a mountain out of the mole say his, supporters.
His annoyance with his detractors in the party in an open secret with the Congress central observer of Uttarakhand Devendra Yadav, leader of the opposition in Assembly n former state party chief Pritam Singh n even Kishore Upadhyay being counted as his bete noire opposing Rawat’s repeated suggestion to name the prospective CM face of the ensuing elections.
These leaders had while opposing Rawat’s proposal to declare a CM face catagorically said that this has never been the party’s tradition and that the Uttarakhand election would be fought unitedly under the cumulative leadership of all, putting his wishes to dustbin.
Not only this but in the past too in 2016, 17 about ten MLAs of Congress some of whom were ministers had joined BJP protesting against the authoritarian style of Rawat’s functioning including tall Congress leaders Satpal Maharaj n former CM Vijay Bahuguna, out of whom a cabinet minister in BJP, earlier in Congress n former party chief of UK has joined Congress along with his lawmaker Son viz Yashpal Arya n Sanjiv Arya.
Adding fuel to fire to the ongoing controversy after Rawat’s tweet former Uttarakhand chief Kishore Upadhyay has today released a video in the social media hitting a sixer saying that the Congress party and it’s senior leaders have been investing tremendously on their workers and leaders giving them tickets making MLAs, ministers and chief ministers n what not. Indiraji, Rajivji, Soniaji and Rahul Gandhi has made them top leaders. This is the crucial time when they should repay those obligations to the party which will enable the state, party and country flourish. This is the request I have to make to a these leaders.
Kishore Upadhyay’s reference is directly to the Congress leader Harish Rawat though he has not named him but political analysts say that the timing of Upadhyay speaks of this very fact unambiguously.
It may be recalled that after the tweets of veteran Congress Harish Rawat against the top brass of Congress blaming them of tieing his hands n not let him work acknowledging non cooperation in the party organisation especially when the ruling party has let loose several important leaders terming them as allegedly crocodiles has given the opposition party n Rawat’s opponents a bright chance to exploit to situation to their advantage by propagating the existing party feuds continuing in Congress party especially during the election period.
