Kejrival brought to Delhi Court by the CBI today, was questioned in Tihar jail on Tuesday
The Delhi chief minister and national convenor of Aam Admi Party has been brought by the CBI officers to the Rouse Avenue Court today morning from Tihar prison and produced before the judge. He was yesterday i.e. Tuesday questioned by the Indian Premier investigation agency CBI at Tihar prison and the AAP MP Sanjay Singh too has issued a video on social media platform X expressing his apprehensions that Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival may be arrested before the Supreme Court issues its order for bail on Wednesday. However, according to news reports the CBI has denied arresting Arvind Kejrival. Meanwhile, the AAM Admi Party and the Delhi Urban Development minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has strongly opposed the Delhi High Court vacation judge Sudhir Kumar Jain’s decision to stay the trial court bail order keeping their leader in jail and said that they have prepared a strong legal team and shall approach the Supreme Court today challenging the Delhi High Court decision.
However, the Supreme Court had two days ago already kept its order reserved to give its judgement in the bail order after the senior counsel Abhishekh Manu Singhvi had challenged the DHC judgement on the ground that he is clean and there are no evidence against his client etc who Isa responsible citizen and Delhi CM , not at all a flight risk.
On the other hand the Delhi High Court vacation judge Sudhir Kumar Jain had categorically turning down the bail orders of the lower court said that its judge has not appreciated the evidences / material produced by the ED nor given them enough opportunity to present their point of view.
According to latest news Arvind Kejrival has been produced before the CBI Rouse Avenue Court being heard by judge Abhinav Rawat. There are also reports that the court had today granted permission to CBI to question Arvind Kejrival in the Court room.
