The legislature from Kedarnath Assembly constituency Shaila Rani Rawat is no more. She breathed her last in Max hospital after suffering from a prolonged illness. Shaila Rani Rawat , lawmaker was admitted to hospital for the last few months. The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami and several leaders of BJP laid wreaths on her coffin draped in the BJP flag at the party office in Dehradun. The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while expressing his deepest condolences praised late Shaila Rani Rawat as a string leader with grot, determination n people centric with always worried to resolve their grievances and working hard for the benefit of her constituency. She termed her a women of struggle who struggled hard all her life for social welfare n well being of the people of her constituency n elsewhere. He wrote on X : The sudden demise of Honourable MLA from Kedarnath Assembly, Smt. Shaila Rani Rawat ji is extremely sad. Her entire life was a struggle. She was always dedicated to the overall development of the region and public service. His demise is an irreparable loss for the BJP family as well as all the residents of the region.
