KAKA’S 81 BIRTH ANNIVERSARY AT THE TREAT- RAJESH KHANNA FOOD VAN IN CHANAKYAPURI ON 29 TH AT 1.00 PM ONWARDS.
Tomorrow i. e. 29 th December is the 81 st Birth anniversary of the first ever and original superstar of Indian Film Industry and ex. MP from New Delhi parliamentary constituency defeating his co star friend Shatrughan Sinha in 1992.
Rajesh Khanna aka Kaka who gave 15 super duper hit films from 1969 to 1972, the unique record never ever broken by anyone till date was the first super star, loved and adored by his millions of fans all over the globe for whom the term ” Stardom” was coined for the very first time in Bollywood.
Though Kaka is immortal as said by his die hard fans, had he been physically alive he would have been 81 years old tomorrow.
A grand function is being organised on 29 th December at The Treat – Rajesh Khanna’s food stall of delicacies behind Jesus and Mary college, diplomatic enclave, Chanakyapuri by his die -hard fan and younger brother like Vipin Oberoi to pay their richest tributes to Kaka, an outstanding phenomena of Indian film Industry who gave around 175 films having worked as a solo hero with super duper 15 hits between 1969 to 1972.
A musical event with ” Havan”, ( spiritual ) and cake cutting ceremony is organised here every year to pay their respectful tributes to the first Indian Super star by his fans and followers at Chanakyapuri organised by Vipin Oberoi, Kaka’s close disciples, friend or younger brother, whatever one may like to call him. Kaka used to often visit this food stall/ van in Diplomatic Enclave Chanakyapuri when in Delhi while he was alive.
His fans Kaka and singers on his birth anniversary sing Kaka’s hit songs to pay tributes to their iconic first superstar every year on his birthday and death anniversary.
