The terror let loose by Kaanwadiyas in various parts of Uttarakhand particularly in Haridwar, Rishikesh and Uttar Pradesh like Meerut , Mirzapur etc thrashing innocent people, shopkeepers, car drivers and owners including Army and paramilitary personal have come to light with law enforcing agencies like police finally nabbing the culprits and registering cases against the stringent sections of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita. There have been several incidents of violence in Haridwar, Meerut, Rishikesh and Mirzapur where the Kanwadiyas have not not completely damaged expensive cars but have also thrashed the car owners and smashed a shop of an optician, which clearly indicates that hooligans under the guise of Kaanwadiyas are creating terror in the holy township. In Mirzapur a paramilitary jawan was thrashed , kicked and hit repeatedly by several hooligans wearing saffron attire finally a video going viral in social cial media. The Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and the Railway Police is believed to have taken note of it and all the four or more hooligans were arrested and taught a befitting lesson. Seven individuals were arrested by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Three adults and four minors were booked under sections of the Railways Act and for voluntarily causing hurt and intentional insult. The accused were later released on a personal bond as the offense was non-cognizable. In social media a video is going viral, though it is not officially confirmed that after being thrashed by the police, and seen in plaster being these hoodlums were paraded in the open to send across a befitting lesson to those involved in such dastardly acts of violence. All these culprits have been arrested as well and cases against serious sections of law registered against them finally released after bonds signed by them as the crime if non cognizable. It is being said that the paramilitary jawan was intoxicated and the quarrel started between the Kaanwadiyas and the paramilitary jawan while buying ge railway tickets at the Mirzapur railway station.
