According to various news reports the judicial custody of the Delhi Health minister Satyendra Jain who has been hospitalised due to his ill health, has been extended by another 14 days after the special judge Geetanjali Goel issued orders in this regard after holding a video conference to ensure the presence of health minister virtually. It is pertinent to mention here that the Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain is under judicial custody for the last two weeks who was hospitalised due to his ill health. He was arrested by the enforcement directorate on 30 th May under criminal charges of PMLA. The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and deputy CM Manish Sisodia had held press conferences to charge the BJP for their vindictive stand saying that he is innocent etc. The order by judge Geetanjali Goel for extending his custody was passed after the Enforcement Directorate had filed a please for extending the custody of the minister. After the court was informed about the hospitalisation of the minister, the judge asked him to be virtually present him in the hearing through video conference in which she extended the minister’s judicial custody for another 14 days reveal news reports.
