“Journos on Canvas” Art exhibition at Press club inaugurated by renowned artist Arpana Caur
A magnificent exhibition of splendid art work and paintings is going on at the main Hall of Press Club of India premises. These attractive paintings have been made by the journalists and members of Press club of India and the credit for organising this wonderful exhibition goes to the PCI president and veteran journalist Gautam Lahiri. The Exhibition was inaugurated the other day by the renowned artist / painter Arpana Kaur who heartily thanked the PCI chief Gautam Lahiri and those involved in the exhibition for inviting her at this fabulous display of outstanding art work by working journalists. The journalists who contributed by drawing outstanding art work / paintings for display in this exhibition are Arya Prayagraj, Jatun Gandhi, Jitendra Singh, Nirmala Sharma, Rupak Goswami, Sanjay Basak, Srirupa Goswami,Sunil Kumar Singh, Virendra S Vu. The title of the exhibition is JOURNOS ON CANVAS. Earlier a photo exhibition of the photo journalists who are also the members of PCI was also organised at PCI precincts and was a grand success with several photos sold out. The paintings on display at the PCI till 9 th February, today being the last day are on sale as well.
प्रेस क्लब ऑफ इंडिया परिसर के मुख्य हॉल में शानदार कला कृतियों और चित्रों की एक शानदार प्रदर्शनी चल रही है। इन आकर्षक पेंटिंग्स को पत्रकारों और प्रेस क्लब ऑफ इंडिया के सदस्यों ने बनाया है और इस अद्भुत प्रदर्शनी के आयोजन का श्रेय पीसीआई अध्यक्ष और अनुभवी पत्रकार गौतम लाहिड़ी को जाता है। प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन दूसरे दिन प्रसिद्ध कलाकार/चित्रकार अर्पणा कौर ने किया, जिन्होंने कामकाजी पत्रकारों द्वारा उत्कृष्ट कला कार्यों के इस शानदार प्रदर्शन में उन्हें आमंत्रित करने के लिए पीसीआई प्रमुख गौतम लाहिड़ी और प्रदर्शनी में शामिल लोगों को दिल से धन्यवाद दिया। इस प्रदर्शनी में प्रदर्शन के लिए उत्कृष्ट कलाकृतियाँ/चित्र बनाकर योगदान देने वाले पत्रकार हैं आर्य प्रयागराज, जतुन गांधी, जीतेन्द्र सिंह, निर्मला शर्मा, रूपक गोस्वामी, संजय बसाक, श्रीरूपा गोस्वामी, सुनील कुमार सिंह, वीरेंद्र एस वू। प्रदर्शनी का शीर्षक जर्नोज़ ऑन कैनवास है। इससे पहले फोटो पत्रकारों, जो पीसीआई के सदस्य भी हैं, की एक फोटो प्रदर्शनी भी पीसीआई परिसर में आयोजित की गई थी और यह एक बड़ी सफलता थी और कई तस्वीरें बिक गईं। पीसीआई में 9 फरवरी तक प्रदर्शित पेंटिंग्स, आज आखिरी दिन होने के कारण बिक्री पर भी हैं।
