Journalist who exposed Ankita Bhandari murder case being threatened with dire consequences. Complaint lodged in Rajpur Police station.
The investigative journalist of Uttarakhand Ashutosh Negi who was threatened with dire consequences for exposing and highlighting the murder case of a 19 year old girl Ankita Bhandari has registered his complaint with police station Rajpur in Dehradun today. Investigative journalist Ashutosh Negi who had put his life to danger in exposing that murder case was threatened by one Vinod Kumar saying that until he stops his mission to expose the culprits of Ankita Bhandari he will be met with disastrous end. In his complaint Ashutosh Negi has given the three telephone numbers from where he was threatened with dire circumstances consequences for not only exposing this murder mystery but still working on this story. In a complaint addressed to the SHO of Rajpur police station, Dehradun journalist Ashutosh Negi wrote that I had raised the issue of the murder of Ankita Bhandari prominently in my channel Jago Uttarakhand. I was threatened on the following three numbers as given in the complaint. After giving threatening calls the journalist of Pahad TV Naval was also threatened said Negi in his complaint.
Ashutosh Negi urged the police to give him and his family adequate police protection as suspicious elements are wandering around him. Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand police has assured that they are seriously working on the complaint filed by a journalist of a news portal namely Ashutosh Negi. The police is investigating the case after lodging the FIR in the matter said the UK police in a social media post.
Shockingly, Mr Ashutosh Negi from JAGO UTTARAKHAND channel along with Mr Naval from PAHAD channel received threatening calls to face dire consequences for exposing Ankita Bhandari’s case.
