After seven hours of incessant questioning in money laundering and a massive land scam worth 600 crores of rupees case, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and chief minister Hemant Soren has been arrested reminding of the arrest of the Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in 1997 in a massive fodder scam who passed on the baton of power to his wife Rabri Devi, who later on led Bihar as a first woman CM thrice despite being just primary passed.
The Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren who has been evading the enforcement Directorate for the last two days and earlier too skipping ED summons with his Delhi house in Shanti Niketan having been raided and objectionable documents of two BMWs found with hard cash of 36 lakh rupees had landed in his Ranchi house Monday evening by travelling through his car from Delhi clandestinely as the police was stationed at the Airports and railway stations including at his posh Delhi residence .
After reaching Ranchi the JMM chief minister had held meeting of MLAs at his house in which a unanimous decision was taken to name his wife as CM in his place if he is arrested or some other trusted MLA.
After his arrest he was taken to the ED office at Ranchi for further legal action and interrogation.
The CM after being arrested posted a sort of poetry in Hindi on his social media, platform X with a photo sitting in a car and raising his hand towards the crowd cheering them . He wrote : This is a Pause ( break). Life is a big battle, Had, fought every moment and will fight every moment, but would not beg for compromise, whether it is a defeat or a victory, I am least apprehensive, ( fearful), Don’t touch my simplicity or modesty, you are ” MAHAN, maintain it, I won’t accept the defeat and pain of my people at any cost said Hemant Soren, CM, Jharkhand.
It may be recalled that the INDIA NATIONAL INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENTAL ALLIANCE has suffered s huge setback after the arrest of Hemant Soren, leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha who is also an important constituent of the 28 party conglomeration.
This is a second setback to INDI Alliance after the chief architect of INDIA and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had left INDIA to join BJP and NDA recently especially when elections are round the corner.
According to the latest media reports one businessman from West Bengal Mr. Agrawal when arrested by ED gave the clue about the Jharkhand CM’s alleged involvement in the massive land scam of Jharkhand in which the government land was converted clandestinely and illegally into private land by changing the ownership and then sold to builders etc.
The ED has also raided the house of Soren in Shanti Niketan in South Delhi two days ago and unearthed Rs 36 lakhs in cash and documents of two BMWs etc. Mr. Agrawal arrested by ED is reportedly a business man of West Bengal looking after money matters etc of the Jharkhand CM say the news reports.
