JAYANT CHOUDHARY AND AKHILESH MEET. RLD TO CONTEST ON 7 PARLIAMENTARY SEATS , CONG STAKES CLAIM ON 28 SEATS IN UP
The seat adjustment exercises in INDIAN NATIONAL DEVELOPMENTAL INCLUSIVE ALLIANCE are on full swing with its partners at various levels. As a sequel to this ongoing exercise of seat adjustments in Uttar Pradesh today the leaders of Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Choudhary met and arrived at consensus on mutual seat adjustments. While Jayant Singh has agreed to contest on 7 seats , the Congress party which has staked claims on 28 seats in Uttar Pradesh is on the last stage of deliberations with Samajwadi party which is considered to be the biggest and strongest party in Uttar Pradesh. It may be recalled that the INDIA bloc’s twenty eight parties are these days busy in seat adjustment exercises at the pan India and at various states level. In the national capital, the seat adjustment formula has already been arrived at between the Congress and Aam Admi Party with Congress agreeing to contest in three and AAP on 4 seats out of seven in the ensuing general elections. Today the Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has written on his social media handle : Congratulations to everyone on the alliance of Rashtriya Lok Dal and SP ! Let us all unite for victory ! On the other hand the president of Rashtriya Lok Sal Jayant Singh Choudhary wrote on social media platform X after the successful seat alliance adjustment on 7 parliamentary seats with SP : Always ready to protect national and constitutional values, we expect all the workers of our alliance to move forward together for the development and prosperity of our region ! The spokesperson of Rashtriya Lok Dal confirmed about the seat adjustment with SP and that RLD will contest on 7 parliamentary seats.
