Manu Bhaker the winner of two Bronze medals and her personal coach accorded rousing welcome at Palam Airport, Delhi

Hundreds of over enthusiastic fans and admirers of two back to back winner of prestigious Bronze Medals in shooting at the Paris Olympics and her personal coach and Pistol King having earlier won Gold medals in Asian and Commonwealth games were accorded a rousing and tumultuous welcome amidst beating of drums at the Palam International Airport garlending both the Guru Shishya – Jaspal Rana and Manu Bhaker with majority of people from Uttarakhand and their admirers living in Delhi turning up in large numbers. They were accorded the tumultuous welcome on their arrival to Delhi from Paris Olympics raising the Indian national tricolour high in the world.

The father of Jaspal Rana, chairman of Uttarakhand Rifle Association and former minister in Uttarakhand government Narayan Singh Rana was also present on this jubilant ocassion with garlands and bouquets. The Jaspal Rana and Manu Bhaker’s admirers were carrying play cards with the photographs of both Rana and Bhaker waving them with slogans hailing both of them.

With Narayan Singh Rana, former Uttarakhand minister and chairman of Ukhand Rifle Association were also the sports minister in Haryana government Sandip Singh Rajput and several sports and shooting admirers including the office bearers of the national Rifles association and Brijmohan Upreti of AAP and his team.

The duo Mentor and Bronze medals’ winner Manu Bhaker looked extremely jubilant garlanded with good number of garlands with her fans raising slogans hailing her and her personal coach Jaspal Rana. The entire credit goes to Jaspal Rana for fine tuning Manu Bhaker with extreme precision for years and being with her on his personal expenses at Paris Olympics in a private hotel accommodation guaranteeing two Bronze medals for the nation, raising the Indian flag high.

Kindly recall that Jaspal Rana and his father are also running a shooting academy in Uttarakhand and is a proud Arjuna Award, Dronacharya and Padma Shree award recipient in sports. Jaspal and the entire family of Jaspal Rana is fully dedicated to shooting since the last four decades or more with Jaspal’s daughter Devanshi also the Gold medal winner of Khelo India and in ISSF competition in Australia felicitated at Press Club of India.
