IYC protest outside ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in Delhi with court arrests against uncontrollable inflation

After Congress protesting at Dehradun yesterday led by the former leader of the opposition Pritam Singh and hundreds of party workers n office bearers, the Indian Youth Congress today protested in New Delhi raising anti govt slogans with play cards in their hands, demonstrating against the rising prices of Petrol, diesal and domestic gas demanding decrease in the rates adversely impacting the general masses of the country.

The youth Congress activists also courted arrest in protest, with police having a very hard day controlling the vociferous demonstrators of Indian Youth Congress led by its president Sriniwas BV. The Indian Youth Congress activists today protested outside the Ministry of Petroleum and Gas against the skyrocketing inflation, prices of petrol, diesel and gas cylinders acros country. Addressing the IYC activists the national President of Indian Youth Congress, Srinivas BV said that the burden of inflation is increasing continuously on the people. Ever since the elections are over, the people’s bad days have started. The government, intoxicated by power, is only engaged in doing good to itself and its friends, but not at all bothered for the countrymen reeling under excessive inflation. Criticing the BJP n it’s government he added : They does not see the miseries of the people, nor are they concerned with their problems, the real reason behind the fire in oil prices being well understood by the public. sriniwas said the government should understand that by repeatedly blaming others for its failure, the stains on the arm will not be dusted.

The trust and confidence of the public has been completely eroded and the present ruling dispensation instead of bringing down all round inflation seems to be busy enhancing the prices pf Petrol, diesal n domestic gas adversely affecting the general people, especially the middle and lower middle class of the country. Srinivas BV said that the public is compelled to pay the price for the false rhetoric of achche din.

The people of the country have unambiguously understood the BJP’s chronology of inflation but also want to know as to why are the petro products n gas prices rissing uncontrollably when the price of crude oil has decreased by about 26.42% in the international market.There is no other reason behind the ever-increasing inflation, but the greed of the government he added.

Many youth Congress workers, including Indian Youth Congress’s National Media In-charge Rahul Rao, National secretary and Delhi co-in-charge Khushboo Sharma, National secretary Manju Bharat Tongad, Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress President Rannvijay Singh Lochav, were present in the protest n courted arrests.
