In Madhya Pradesh news about accepting bribes in abundance are dominating the print media and the news channels where right from a Patwari to chief of the state administration and from Constable to the top Police officers are allegedly caught taking bribes thus earning and accumulating currency worth millions and millions of rupees stocking them illegally to the shock and surprise of one and all.

Sounds really shocking that the salary is merely few thousand rupees and wealth, property , currency worth Rupees 700 crores.

Though several cases of bribery have been unearthed in Madhya Pradesh where the saffron party government rules but in a case of one constable of MP police everyone is surprised a d awestruck when after raiding several locations by the IT department and authorities concerned his unaccounted wealth worth Rs. 500 to 700 crores was found.

The moot point is what were the different agencies doing when the constable was illegally earning so much of money clandestinely. Where were the vigilance department officials and other agencies ?

Just imagine as to how can this happen in a monthly salary of mere thirty thousand rupees. The details of the accumulated unearthed wealth is as below : 52 kg of gold
234 kg of silver
10 crore rupees in cash from an SUV
1 crore rupees from other locations
Luxury cars
Flat in Dubai
Property in India worth 150-200 crore rupees
FDs worth crores
Total assets estimated at 500-700 crore rupees!

It seems that this illegal wealth is definitely either of a corrupt senior officer or other corrupt persons in government who must have used this constable as a conduit to cover these corrupt deeds. Otherwise how can a constable earn such a huge wealth and through what sources is a moot question ?

According to The Hindu on October 16, a regular case was registered against Bhullar under Sections 61(2) BNS and 7 and 7A of the PC Act on allegations that the officer demanded a bribe and monthly illegal gratification through his middleman for “settling” an FIR registered against the complainant and ensuring that no further coercive or adverse police action was taken against his business.

Bhullar’s aide, Krishnu Sharda, who was also arrested with him, was on Wednesday sent to nine days’ custody by a CBI court here. Bhullar and his associate were arrested following a complaint lodged by a Fatehgarh Sahib-based scrap dealer.

The CBI had caught Sharda red-handed while demanding and accepting ₹5 lakh from the complainant on behalf of Bhullar in Chandigarh. The FIR said that during the investigation, cash amounting to ₹7,36,90,000 was recovered, out of which ₹7,36,50,000 was seized.
