The extortion, misuse of power , human thrashing , murders , liquor smuggling on mass scale , massive illegal land sale and subsequent construction have led to an increase in the crime graph with criminals from the nearby states and districts including NCR settling here permanently and ruling their roost investing black money and building resorts as investment capital and entertainment resource orientation where triple W has a pivotal role to play. If we put a glance at the recent criminal acts of the state including the massive cheating scam of Uttarakhand and despicable Ankita Bhandari murder case with VIP still a mystery, we’ll find that the leaders of the ruling political dispensation were the key culprits still behind jails. The recent involvement of a BJP woman leader of Haridwar in allegedly pushing her own daughter into prostitution is still in jail.
