INTEC SUBMITS Memorandum TO VC DELHI UNIVERSITY DEMANDING ADMISSION TO MANIPUR STUDENTS WITHOUT CUTE EXAMS
In a memorandum submitted to the Vice -Chancellor, University of Delhi , Academic Council Members and University Court Member of Indian National Teachers’ Congress(INTEC) has demanded that University should extend its help by giving the admission to those candidates from Manipur who could not appear in CUET examination or couldn’t complete their process of filling up the form by considering the percentage (%) of their XII marks under this difficult time.
It will be a healing touch and a great humanitarian initiative from University of Delhi for those students who are gravely affected by the crisis in Manipur. The majority of students belong to backward and underprivileged classes such as OBC, SC and ST.
According to Pankaj Kumar Garg
Chairman, INTEC INTEC feels that due to ongoing ethnic conflict and violence in Manipur, there is a massive impact on education sector and there is a total shutdown of internet service for more than 80 days during which all the CUET examinations for Undergraduate (UG) courses were conducted. So, there are many students who were left out in CUET examinations due to the reasons mentioned above and their future education is uncertain.
Even if students appeared in CUET many of them after registering themselves for admission to UG Courses in Delhi University couldn’t complete and submit their online forms said Pankaj Kumar.
