Infuriated Ganesh Godiyal said when stopped to enter Tharali, is Uttarakhand only meant for the BJP ?

The Uttarakhand Congress former president and the former MLA from Srinagar and senior leader Ganesh Godiyal today visited the catastrophic affected Tharali in Chamoli where young twenty years old girl had unfortunately died after being buried under the debris of the natural calamity while trying to protect her family and loss of several vehicles, houses, and economy on the colossal scale.

Initially the Congress leader Ganesh Godiyal and his entourage wasn’t allowed to visit the calamity affected Tharali and he strongly protested speaking to a senior police officers saying that is Uttarakhand only met for the BJP and its chief minister.

He questioned why can’t we go if the chief minister with his entire entourage and party flags are allowed to visit the calamity hit areas.

He asked is Uttarakhand belonging to BJP exclusively. He said in anger that if they are not allowed the consequences will be serious.

He was thereafter allowed to enter Tharali to visit the calamity affected areas.

Meanwhile the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extensively visited the bereaved family in which they’ve lost their young daughter whose dead body was retrieved from underneath the calamity debris.

He parted his grief with them assuring of all possible financial and other kind of necessary support.

The chief minister said : Sad news of cloudburst was received late night in Tharali area of ​​Chamoli district. District administration, SDRF, police have reached the spot and are engaged in relief and rescue operations.

In this regard, I am constantly in touch with the local administration and I myself am closely monitoring the situation. I pray to God for everyone’s safety.

It may be recalled that the Tharali ecological disaster was the result of the massive cloud bursts resulting in massive deluge with silt and mud including stones etc resulting in 51 houses being damaged, a twenty years old girl’s brutal death under the debris, eleven vehicles being buried, severan trees uprooted , the official houses of SDM and DM damaged including shops, offices in the Tehsil and Chepdon and Kotdeep bazaar and the surrounding areas filled with four to five feet debris. A seventy eight year old person is also reportedly missing.
