Indian Youth Congress today Gheraoed the residence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and protested against the rigging in NEET UG and NET exams. On this occasion, many Youth Congress workers reached outside Dharmendra Pradhan’s residence, protested and courted arrests, demanding that NTA be dismissed and due justice accorded to students of NEET UG and NET exams as soon as possible. This exam scam has pushed the future of lakhs of young students towards darkness said the chief of IYC Srinivas BV.
Issuing a statement Indian Youth Congress chief Srinivas BV said that the scam in the exam is not just cheating with the students but a betrayal with the future of the country.
Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan had misled the country despite knowing that “NEET paper was not leaked”, the country’s leaked education minister Dharmendra Pradhan should not only resign but he should also be questioned strictly said IYC chief Srinivas BC adding that today there is no such exam in the country in which there is no rigging. Students have started writing on social media – ‘Once again, leakage government’. Before the election Narendra Modi discussed the exams with students , but after the election there is no talk about paper leak and rigging said the IYC chief.
The Indian Youth Congress secretary Mohd. Shahid said that NTA is under suspicion, because the matter of paper leak came to the fore. Paper leak, rigging and corruption have become an integral part of many exams including NEET. All these things raise many questions on NTA. The direct responsibility for this lies with the Modi government said IYC Secretary accusing the education minister for spoiling the academic future and career of thousands of aspirants.
Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress Working President Shubham Sharma said that BJP has cheated the youth of the country. There is a need to take strict action on paper leaks, because paper leak mafia is playing with the future of the students. This paper leak is a big scam, this fight will continue till the young students get justice emphasised and assured Delhi YC working president Shubham Sharma.
The Indian Youth Congress demanded that the central government should review the issues related to the exam as soon as possible, the complaints should be resolved, the investigation should be done under the supervision of the Supreme Court, and the Prime Minister should work to give justice to the students.
During this protest, Delhi Police detained many Youth Congress workers. During this protest, National Secretary of Indian Youth Congress Mohd. Shahid, Shashi Singh, Working President of Delhi State Youth Congress Shubham Sharma, and many other Youth Congress workers were present.
In addition to the IYC, the NSUI and SFI including the students wing of AAP also protested outside the residence and office of the union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan at Shastri Bhawan demanding his immediate resignation as he has failed stop or control the leakage of NEET examination papers leading to spoiling the academic and career oriented future of thousands of students / aspirants. They were raising slogans against the government and the education minister demanding his resignation in Mira grounds.
