INDIA LEADERS IN UNISON DEMAND RELEASE OF ARVIND KEJRIVAL
The I.N.D.I.A. leaders today participated in a joint protest meeting at Jantar Mantar to express their disenchantment over the declining health of Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival demanding his immediate release as according to them he has been incarcerated despite funding a single evidence against him. The former deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain are also behind bars in Tihar Jail since last two years and sixteen months respectively. Arvind Kejrival is in jail since the last five months on PMLA charges though the chargesheet against him has been filed by the Indian’s premier agency CBI just yesterday , 712 days after the filing of a FIR. The leaders of INDIA also accused the central government for creating various bottleneck in the working of Delhi government leading to tragedies like the one happened in Rajinder Nagar in which three UPSC aspirants were brutally killed in the basement of Rau Study Circle. The prominent leaders of the India National Inclusive Developmental Alliance who participated in this protest public meeting at Jantar Mantar are Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Sunita Kejrival, Sharad Pawar, NCP leader, former ITS and wife of Arvind Kejrival, Akhilesh Yadav, former UP CM and Samjwadi leader, Comrade D. Raja, general secretary of CPI, Sitaram Ram Yachuri, CPM general secretary, Gaurav Gogoi, Congress deputy leader, Pramod Tiwari, Sagarika Ghosh, MP TMC, Gopal Rai, Delhi minister, Raghav Chadha, AAP Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh, AAP RS M P, Sanjay Raut , Shiv Sena MP and spokesman, CPI ( ML) general secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya etc. The Leader of the opposition Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge were conspicuous by their absence. Slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai, Arvind Kejrival ko riha karo and end the dictatorship rent the air through out the meeting. Addressing the rally the CPM general secretary Sita Ram Yechuri said that we will not more tolerate the dictatorship of the ruling political dispensation who are arresting Arvind Kejrival, Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain , all from opposition parties on false and fabricated charges and the CBI files the chargesheet 712 days after the registration of the FIR. He said that democracy is at stake and is being murdered. The Modi government despite losing so badly in the general elections is still behaving dictatorially and misusing agencies like ED, CBI and IT to harass opposition leaders and put them in jail. He accused the ruling political dispensation for tempering with voting machines as there was difference of over five crore votes when cross check this clearly indicates that the BJP has win on 79 parliamentary seats through unfair means. Congress leader Pramod Tiwari while addressing the protest meeting said that it was the height of humanity to incarcerated Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival in Jail despite the medical reports showing the dip in sugar levels which are very risky for the vital parts of his life. Another Congress leader Tarun Gogoi said that the ruling party cannot scare the opposition whether it is AAP, Congress OR OTHER PARTY any more saying that had the election been fair the saffron party would have been in the opposition and we on the ruling side. He categorically said that the BJP government won’t complete its full term and would be destabilised quite before. Another CPI ( ML) leader Deepanker Bhattacharyya said that the present government is responsible for anarchy in Delhi which took the lives of the UPSC aspirants in Rajinder Nagar. Accusing the ruling party for trying hard to end the AAM Admi Party Mr.Bhattacharya said that a conspiracy is being hatched to weaken the Delhi government of AAP adding that Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival is in jail, so is Umar Khalid and others in Bhima Koregaon fake cases. Citing the case of eighty years old Stan Swamy he said that Swamy died in jail due to his alleged torture n non medication. Accusing the BJP for stifling the voice of those who speak against it Mr. Bhattacharya said that most of the opposition leaders and activists are in jail for several months. He categorically said that a conspiracy is at work to finish the opposition leaders and their parties and Arvind Kejrival is a credible instance of this conspiracy said Bhattacharya demanding his immediate release. He also urged the electorates in Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand to vote against these conspirators and keep BJP out of power. The CPI general secretary D. Raja while demanding Kejrival’s release said that there is no democracy in the country, democracy of the people, for the people and by the people. Expressing his serious concern over the deteriorating health of Arvind Kejrival in Tihar Jail D.Rajasaid that his health is declining . He asked : How long should we tolerate this ? How much longer can we tolerate this government he asked ?
NCP leader Sharad Pawar too demanded immediate release of Arvind Kejrival and assured of his party’s full support and solidarity with AAP and its leader.
