The Indian T – 20 Cricket team has indeed made India proud, the largest democracy in the world, winning the prestigious T-20 international World Cup after tremendous determination, dedication and hard work of several days finally coming true to the expectation of 150 crore Indians and their fans globally.

Prime minister Narendra Modi released his video congratulating the Indian Cricket team heartily making India proud in the world by their outstanding cricketing feats. He congratulated them all n wrote on X :

The entire nation is in festive mood with crackers bursting all around. Just after Indian team won the World Cup after Hardik Pandya finishing his over , there was jubilation all around in Guyana, Barbados stadium with cricket fans coming in the ground in joy and Hardik Pandya, captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli literally in tears embracing each other with the BCCI secretary sin of the union home minister coming on the ground holding the national tricolour raising n waving it in jubilation posing for photographs. The wives of the cricketers also came happily on the ground embracing and wishing the players their best wishes.
This is third victory for India winning the prestigious World cup trophy first in 1983, second in 2007 and third in 2924 today.
The secretary of BCCI Jay Shah welcomed all the players of Indian Cricket team in the stage presenting them the medals tying them around their necks.
India has win the World cup against South Africa by 7 runs at the Kesington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados . The towering India batsman having scored wonderful 76 runs of 56 balls Virat Kohli bagged the outstanding player of the match trophy today.
Jaspreet Bumrah, the outstanding bowler who bowled two in just 18 runs of the rival team SA was honoured with the Player if the Series award.
Kindly recall that South Africa has played in the World cup for the very first time n was the runner up.
Extremely thrilled the India captain Rohit Sharma who was seen lifting his daughter over his shoulders while taking the round of the ground with the trophy while giving his post match views said : We are indeed thrilled having no words to express in jubilation. The outstanding victory is immeasurable.
“We played a lot of high pressure games and have been on the wrong side of them.
“Guys understand that when the pressure is on, what needs to be done. Today was a perfect example.
“Even though at one point it was looking South Africa’s way, but overall we wanted this really bad.
“To win a tournament like this, a lot goes on behind the scenes.
“I am very proud of the boys and management for giving us that liberty to go out and play and execute, and have that trust in each one of us.
“Throughout the tournament I think we were fantastic.
“Nobody was in doubt about Kohli’s form. We know the quality he has. He has been on top of his game for the last 15 years.
“Come the occasion, we know the big players will stand up. Kohli was holding up that one end which was very crucial for us.
“Getting to that total was a team effort. This was not a wicket where you could bat freely and keep the scoreboard ticking.
“We wanted someone to bat as long as possible, and that is what Virat did.
the T-20 World Cup prestigious trophy was presented by the BCCI Secretary Jay Shah with the players of the victorious team taking the round of the entire ground with the trophy posing for photographs in jubilation. Kudos. Heartiest congratulations team India.
Despite all the achievements , the catch by Surya Yadav at the boundary in the second last Over sending SA’s outstanding batsman Miller back to the enclosure is being lauded by one and all as it was only after Miller being caught out that South Africa badly suffered and lost the winning match.
